Young people in North Yorkshire were asked to help igen with the design for new comments and suggestions form available in schools for students to provide feedback to Connexions staff on the value of the IAG given to them.
They were given a brief – we were looking for something attractive to young people, simple and easy to complete and which would give us the information we need about the value of the interaction, the topics covered and any suggestions for improvement.
A design from Rossett School in Harrogate was chosen for its great message – “Raise your Voice”, linked to an eye catching design.
Pupils at Rossett School worked in small groups to develop their designs which were put before their tutor group to vote for the best design which was put forward to the igen management group for a final decision.
The design went to a professional design company who came up with the final product which the young people approved before printing.
We are very proud of the final result and grateful to Rossett School and their students for this excellent piece of work. We hope that we can continue to use the design for future surveys, with different purposes and different questions but the same overall message to let young people have a say in the design and delivery of their IAG services.
