Job success for Foundation Learners

Foundation Learning in Leeds hosted interviews alongside UBU, an employer that support individuals with disabilities.

Six of our bright young learners, who have had intense progression support from all our team, attended an hour long interview with the employer. By the end of the day, Five individuals were successful in gaining an apprenticeship as ‘Support Angels’ and will each be working towards an NVQ Level 2 in Health and Social Care.

UBU was very impressed by our hospitality and also commented on the level of commitment that we show all our learners. It is hoped this will be an ongoing relationship with UBU and we hope to see them interviewing more young people very soon. All the FL team are very proud of the success of our learners and wish them all the very best for the future.
