Intensive Connexions Services in Leeds are delivered by a range of partners who employ and host PAs. These organistions work in partnership with igen to provide PAs in each of the wedges to work with young people who need intensive support.
We believe that young people in Leeds should have access to high quality Connexions Services. We think that effective partnership between a range of organisations is the best way to make this happen and to get the best possible outcomes for young people.

The chart below shows what the Connexions Leeds Intensive Support will look like in each wedge.
Intensive Connexions support in each of the wedges will be managed by a Locality Manager. This person will be responsible for bringing PAs in the wedge together as a team, and for making sure young people are referred to the right PA to get the support they need. The Locality Manager is the main point of contact for intensive services in each wedge. In each of the wedges there will be a Locality Connexions Steering Group, made up of providers and other key partners. These groups will be supported by steering groups of young people.
Locality Managers have been recruited from a range of backgrounds and will lead an integrated approach to ensuring the right support is in place. This will include being a key link for other agencies and brokering referrals to PAs.
Intensive PAs in the wedges will be based in a number of places which will include schools and community centres. All of the PAs have skills and experience in supporting young people, and some of them also have specialist expertise in areas such as substance misuse and housing.
There will be posters advertising the services in each wedge in lots of different places, helping young people in each wedge to access Connexions Services and get the support of a PA.
