IAG Standards: National Good Practice Event

igen is working on behalf of the DCSF to support Diploma Consortia in the development of IAG.This process includes assessment for Consortia and Local Authorities, using the 12 National Quality Standards for IAG.

Over 200 Consortia have received the support, and we are now in a position to feedback national trends and findings, and to begin the process of sharing good practice from across the Country.

The programme includes:

  • A key note address from Mohammed Haroon, Deputy Director Supporting Children and Young People Group, DCSF.
  • Presentation by igen of the findings of the national audits from over 200 consortia.
  • Using an Authority wide strategic approach to IAG- The Wolverhampton experience
  • Workshops on specific standards including:

* Young Peoples Involvement

* Using IT to support IAG

* Tutor and Workforce training

* Producing Information Material

* Progression to HE

All conference Participants will be given the Quality Standards Resource Guide developed by igen Consultants to support consortia and institutions in meeting the standards.
