1 assembly to introduce the IAG service to staff and students

- Be provided with a flyer outlining key pieces of information / contacts
All young people entering Year 11 will be asked to complete a Choices form to identify / diagnose support needs via a group work session
1 Yr 8/9 Options Assembly
In partnership with the school explain the range of options and consequences of choices made in Yr 8/9 for transition to A level study, FE, HE and employment
1 Yr 11 Moving On /Transitions Assembly
In partnership with the school explain the range of options and consequences of choices made in Yr 8/9 for transition to A level study, FE, HE and employment
Group work for all Yr11s not staying on in education followed up by individual support sessions to finalise plans, complete applications and prepare for interviews
For young people in their final year at school a Careers Adviser will support young people and families to navigate the range of options / application processes and timescales – via individual or group sessions.
Outcome: Appropriate applications made to Learning Providers, employers etc.
Drop in sessions 2 per term
Young people will have access to advisers on a casual drop in basis to provide information, advice and guidance
1:1 Interviews for targeted pupils (e.g. Gifted and Talented, difficult to place, poor attendance at school, special needs, involved with multiple agencies, performing below expectations) – to a maximum of 7 interviews per day

- Young people will receive, as appropriate, an individual personalised Action Plan outlining options / actions and back up plans.
- Copies of Action Plans will be provided to parents and school.
- Parents will be welcome to attend interview as appropriate – based on agreed arrangements with school and young people.
Results Day

- Young people supported to review their plans and options in light of their results and make informed choices regarding options.
- Post 18 supported access to clearing process
